Seattle Spin: What's Happening in Seattle this Week

Performance: Circus Contraption Grand American Traveling Dime Museum, May 21st - June 27th, 7:30 PM, Seattle, $15.  Entertainment from the circus carnival where freaks and oddballs are celebrated.  This is one of those performances that you should see at least once.

Party: All Holiday Party.  May 22cd - May 23rd, 6 PM, Seattle, $11.  Cram 15 holidays of the year into one night during this mega-bash.  One holiday isn't your style?  Big deal!  The next one is just 15 minutes away.

Art: Holman Art Auction, May 23rd, 4 PM, Burke Museum at the UW, $100.  Over 200 Native American inspired works to the highest bidder.

Clubs: Party at the old Rainer Brewery, May 22cd, 6 PM, Seattle, $8.  A full line up of bands and DJs laying down their mixes for a full evening.  Vitamin R may not be around any longer, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the remains.

Restaurant: Cassis, Capital Hill in Seattle.  Some of the best French food in city combined with great outdoor dining.  With the glow of a sunset and a gentle breeze, feeling like you're in Paris isn't too far of a stretch at this restaurant.

Food: Three noteworthy specials.  Restaurant Zoe in Seattle hosts Rick Misterley, the cheesemaker for Quillasascut Cheese Company, presenting a five course dinner, May 18th, $55.  Seastar Restaurant in Bellevue continues its Winemakers Dinner Series, May 19th, with Copper River Salmon and wines of Domaine Serene, $95.  Rovers in Seattle starts a Friday lunch, highlighting a 3 course meal for $35.

Events: Middle Earth Ball, May 22cd, 8 PM, Ballard in Seattle, $25.  A full party themed around middle earth from Lord of the Rings.  The costume possibilities are endless for this night out, and all of them are fun!  A second all-ages show follows.

Restaurant
