Music: Seattle Chamber, April 9th, $14 - $35, in Benaroya Hall, presents St. Matthew's Passion.  As Mel Gibson's Passion of Christ shows, works based upon Christ's life can be stirring to the religious and non-religious alike.

Wildlife:  Port Townsend Marine Center bird migration cruises, $40.  The next time you head up to the islands for your weekend get-a-way, stop by this on your way up.  A fun cruise to Protection Island.

Singles Activity:  NW Active Single's Life Ball, April 9th, Bellevue Hyatt, $29, 8PM - 1AM.  A great reason to get dressed up for a night.

Art: Nordic Museum, April 9 - June 11th, a new exhibition by Royal Nebeker with smaller works from the Lisa Harris Gallery.

Family Activity:  Woodland Park Zoo, April 7th, Winter Blast for the Grizzly Bears.  Think you don't like getting up in the morning?  Then make like a bear and try being waken from you winter hibernation with mounds of artificial snow waiting for you.  If you can't make the event in person, then watch it remotely on their Bear-Cam.

Environment: Alternative Vehicle Fuel Rally, April 10th, 10AM - 2PM, Discover Park, free, located at the Learning Center parking lot, east entrance to the park at 3801 W. Government Way.  Consider the real alternatives to your ol' gas guzzler, especially with $2/gallon gas becoming the norm.

Shows


Teatro ZinZanni, April 8th - Mary 30th, $89 - $109.  The original cast reunites.  A great meal paired with an out-of-this world show.  You can't find anything else remotely similar to this in Seattle.  This is one of those experiences worth splurging for.
