Seattle Source: What's happening in Seattle this week

Fashion  Seattle Fashion Week this week, March 10th at The Last Supper Club and March 11th at Bell Harbor, $25.  A more artistic bend than the clothes you'll find hanging at Nordstrom, with some you can actually wear!

Music  The Beattles come back to the Edgewater again, March 19th, 9 PM, free.  If you weren't around for the first British invasion, then here's your chance to get that flavor.

Family Activity  Whirligig opens at Seattle Center on March 18th.  Your kids will want to play all day at this fun event.  The bonus is, after this event, your kids will be tired at nightfall so they'll go to bed early without fuss, leaving you alone for a quiet evening!

Restaurants  Here's a good deal at a great restaurant - Brasa is providing a $25 gift certificate (good between April - June 2004) with the purchase of any two dinner entrees.

Sports  Seattle Thunderbirds hosts the Hockey Challenge, March 13-14, tickets start at $18, a six year tradition supporting the Ronald McDonald House of western Washington.

Activities  Space City Mixer, a group of people who get together for diverse events and activities in the area.  Pretty fun and pretty cool - it's like Events and Adventures without the steep initiation fee.

Planning Ahead:
April 3rd, Kilt and Mini Bash
Fall 2004, Burning Man

Ballet

The Romantics opens at Pacific Northwest Ballet, March 18-21st.  Tickets start at $16.  Seattle is gifted with one of the top 5 ballet companies in the US, so if you haven't seen a performance before, then start here.
