Show: Saturday, March 6th at noon, $150 - $250. The stars
of Pacific Northwest Ballet and the food
of Seastar Restaruant come
together for a brunch
and fashion show. Gliding from the stage to the runway, PNB
dancers wear what's new this spring from the named local designers. Visual Arts: First Thursday is March 4th, which means Seattle galleries change their exhibits. Martin-Zambito displays the art and propaganda of WWII, Blue Bottle Art shows the Manifest Soup Transcripts, and experience the underwater world at Wyland Gallery Performing Arts: Incredible Feats of Stupidity at the Boathouse Theatre, March 8-9 at 7:30 PM, $10. As if you need one more reason to laugh at what's going on at the Pentagon right now. Clubs: Starsky and Hutch party, March 5th at Jillian's, 9PM - 2AM, no cover. Proving once again that if you wait long enough, eventually everything comes back around to become cool again. Bring out your 70's fashion and get down to old school vinyl. Readings: Elliot Bay Book Company, Wednesday, March 3rd, 5:30 PM, free. Dean King reads from his book, Skeletons on the Zahara, a gruesome tail of American sailors shipwrecked in 1815 and sold into slavery. Outdoor Activity: Social bicycle rides, Saturday, March 6th, free, by the Cascade Bicycle Club, at points around Seattle. Your bike is still hanging in the garage with two flat tires? Then head down to the Bicycle Expo at Seahawks Exhibition Center this weekend and get ready for the next ride.
